ARCHIEโ€™S ATOMIC TERMS & CONDITIONS

This document has been created to ensure the people participating in roller skating at Archieโ€™s Atomic are as safe as possible at all times. These rules are for your safety and the safety of others.

Please spend some time reading the following T&Cโ€™s and Safety briefing.

All members and guests knowingly and freely assume such risks, both known and unknown, and assume full responsibility for their participation and for having and using the appropriate safety equipment and followed the conditions and etiquette of the rink. We do not accept any responsibility for participants or guestโ€™s failure to comply with these T&Cs and safety briefing rules.

  1. 1. All new users must read, understand and agree to the waiver, T&Cโ€™s and safety briefing when booking in. Without signing these, you will not be allowed access to the rink. It is your responsibility to make a member of staff aware before you participate.
  2. 2. We accept no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to any personal property brought onto the premises.
  3. 3. Payment must be made prior to participating in any session, non-payment will be treated as theft.
  4. 4. Failure to return any safety equipment or skates will be classed as theft and reported.
  5. 5. No chewing gum, food or drink is to be brought onto the premises for consumption in the building (aside from pre-agreed party booking cake). Any food or drink which has not been purchased on the premises must be kept in a sealed container and consumed off the premises.
  6. 6. By Law, smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises this includes the use of e-cigarettes.
  7. 7. Children under the age of 14 must not be left unattended at any time by the responsible adult who brought them. It is the parent or guardian who is ultimately responsible for that child.
  8. 8. Children must be 6 or above to skate in the rink.
  9. 9. Anyone deemed intoxicated will be refused entry.
  10. 10. We reserve the right to refuse admission, remove a participant, or revoke membership at any time. Management decision is final.
  11. 11. Any abusive, violent, intimidating, dangerous, or anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and may lead to perpetrators being removed from the rink and receiving a ban.
  12. 12. It is a participantโ€™s responsibility to report any concerns they may have, or any misuse of the rink they are aware of, to a member of staff. Staff are always on-site to help make your experience safe and enjoyable.
  13. 13. Prior to using any equipment and rink, participants should check it for safety and suitability for your purpose and skill levels. If you find any defect in the equipment you should immediately advise a member of staff who will rectify the fault or replace.
  14. 14. Any accident must be reported to a member of staff immediately. Any injury should be notified to staff, recorded and signed by the injured person or their representative immediately after the accident.
  15. 15. For safety reasons, pregnant women are to seek medical advice before using the rink.
  16. 16. Participants are responsible for ensuring that when using own equipment, it is in good working order with no loose parts.
  17. 17. You agree to waive all liability claims against Archieโ€™s, itโ€™s employees and volunteers for any injuries, ailments or other damage to yourself whilst using the facility other than due to our proven negligence.
  18. 18. Participants willingly agree to comply with the stated customary terms and conditions for participation. If a participant observes any significant concern in their readiness for participation, they should remove themselves from participation and bring it to the attention of the nearest member of staff immediately.
  19. 19. CCTV is in operation.

FAQs

Yes – skaters are allowed to bring their own quad or in-line skates. All skates MUST be suitable for indoor use on a wooden rink, and please ensure all your skates are complete with stoppers or you may be refused entry to the rink. If youโ€™re unsure, please contact the venue directly on: 0161 850 5705 (lines are open during opening times only).

Off-peak:

All day Mondays to Fridays (excluding events and/or themed sessions, please refer to the venue calendar on our site for updates.

Peak:

All day Saturdays and Sundays. Events are charged at peak prices, please refer to the venue calendar on our site for updates.

All bookings come with skate rental and PPE equipment like knee pads, helmets, elbow pads and frame-aids are available upon request.

Yes – you can change the date/time of a booking if you are no longer able to attend. Changed must be made at least 24 hours prior to the booked date. Changes cannot be made within 24 hours of you allotted slot. bookings cannot be refunded for any purchased products.

Everyone is welcome at our shake bar, restaurant and arcade; all of which a free to enter. The minimum age for those taking part in skating is 6 years old. Anyone under the age of 10 is required to have an adult on the roller rink present with them.

No, you donโ€™t have to book unless you are booking a party โ€“ in which case you must book at least 3 days in advance. Walk-ins are accepted for general skate sessions but we always recommend booking in advance so youโ€™re not disappointed.

You can book one of our party packages: The Hi-Roller package (adults) or The Lo-Roller package (kids) for groups of 8+

You MUST book 3 days in advance to ensure we can accommodate your booking.

Party packages include:

  • A party booth for you and your guests throughout your session
  • Welcome sign & balloon arrangement
  • 1 hour skating session for all guests
  • Food & Drink (must be pre-ordered, see product listing for full information)

Yes – guests can bring their own birthday cake on the day. However, candles, sparklers and any other open flames are not allowed in the venue, we can provide LED cake toppers upon request.
